Women development cell

Women development cell is a cell that runs in colleges with the approval of Calicut University.  It  aims at the mental and physical development of adolescent students.  This cell has been functioning here since the inception of Golden Hills Arts and Science College in 2014.

Many programmes were held during this time.

The premarital counselling class lasted for 4 days in 8 sessions of2 hours each. The students  published the magazine “Iniyumundu” which depicts their dreams, hopes, campus life and nostalgia.  The play “Anantaram Ami” which exposes the hell they are going through today, was held as part of the Kozhikode Women’s Cell.  The “Eka Dina Nisha Camp” held at the end of every year is a highlight for the students in their campus life.

For the future generations who are morally and culturally degraded, programs with such moral values are essential.
